Yet another 15 minute twitter talk done for the 2020 WordPress in Education Conference (?A WordPress and Education, Pedagogy and Research Conference on Twitter”).
Two years after presenting What the SPLOT is That?. SPLOTs are back this time as Tweet in to the SPLOT Request Line:
At 5 years old Smallest Portable Learning Online Tools* (SPLOTs http://splot.ca) are widely used and spawning new features**. What can I build next? In this session you can tweet in ideas for a brand new SPLOT.
*one possible definition **previously presented at #pressedconf18
I had hopes for the sort of call in request line thing from old FM radio (oh I miss WKRP in Cincinnati), but rather failed on finding good open licenced images, so I just used them on opening and closing slides.
All of the “slides” are not slides but tweets, and saved here as a Twitter Moment (given how buried moments are on the interface, I don’t expect them to be around long, but hope they will still display here).
Tweet into the SPLOT Request Line
Thanks @PressEdConf for putting on a third conference.
